The county has assumed all control of the fuel service. The FBO office is unmanned frequently due staff multi-tasking.

Avoid this FBO like the plague, the fuel service provided by Huron was leagues above what is provided nowadays by the county FBO. Until APN brings back fuel service at Huron I will be staying far away from this airport for any of my fueling needs.

I do not understand the negative comments on fuel services. I am based at KAPN and fuel there several times a month. I have never encountered any problems getting fuel during operational hours. The staff is very professional, prompt, and friendly. Fuel prices are consistently reasonable. Highly recommend this place!

Avoid this airport for a fuel stop. ForeFlight states hours are 7am-8pm 7 days a week. Arrived at 4:50pm, called over Unicom, no response. Shut down aircraft and called the FBO, left a voicemail before 5pm and also sent a text as requested. Found a sign on FBO door saying hours are 8-5pm. Received a text message back stating they only got my message at 5pm, and a $265 callout fee would apply. County employee was on taxiway in truck. Got ahold of him on radio, and he refused to fuel.
