Landed here for a couple days and when I went to depart it was pouring down rain on a Sunday which I knew the airport was closed. One of the guys who works there happened to be there to get a jet arrival and he let me in the fbo, drove me to my plane in his personal car because it was pouring down rain. I could go on and on but overall super thankful for the southern hospitality! My wife's homemade oatmeal cream pies had to help too! Thanks KALX!

I stopped to assess bad weather ahead and refuel. Convenient and well maintained self serve gas with excellent price. Ended up grounded behind weather for 2 days (vfr). The concern, service, logistic support and hospitality were AAA+. The facility modern, comfortable and spacious. Very close to town and hotels. Top choice for a great place to be delayed!

Dropped in for an overnight in a Citation 650. Cannot say enough about the airport manager. Passengers and crew taken VERY good care of. We will be back soon.

A great spot for a fast fuel stop. Self-service fuel is available using a credit card. There is a single washroom hut right near the fuel pumps, making for a quick in-and-out experience.
