We visited Bill the other day and stayed the night at the Corazozo Inn. Bill and (now?) two dogs cupcake and little rooster - all very colorful. Had pizza at the pizza place in town - recommended. Morning breakfast burrito at newly purchased Valero (not the shiny station across street) was awesome. Think '60's era. Bill now has updated purchase system.

If you can get by and see Bill and cupcake ( his dog ) he doesn't get much traffic because of the restricted airspace to the west. He is a great friendly guy willing to help with anything that you may need. Just be careful of the restrictions to the west. The strip is decent not too many weeds :-) Bill is definitely a character you must see and talk to. Thank you Bill for all your wisdom.

Stopped for fuel on our way home from Sierra Blanca airport. Great little airport. Best fuel price around. If you are hungry, there are a few restaurants that are a short walk into town. Definitely will stop again when in southern New Mexico.

Stopped for fuel on long XC both out and back. Fuel prices are worth the stop. Be prepared to lay over 30-60 mins as the fuel payment system is antiquated. Bill, the guy that runs the field /FBO has to get the truck out for you and start up all the pumps, you can pump your own. Payment is done in the office with an antiquated dial up system…just takes a while. The restroom facilities are “shop quality”, somewhat a mess. The AFD number to the FBO is actually to the mayors cell, he’ll call Bill if not around. Will definitely stop again.
