Overnight stays are not allowed. This airfield is essentially a private strip used by oilfield survey aircraft. I heard they are even trying to officially make the field private. Heavy company departures begin at 8:00am and arrivals are around 3:00pm. It is underneath the KMAF Charlie shelf and has many nearby obstructions, especially to the Northeast. It is advisable to approach from the east or south to bypass the Charlie airspace and most obstacles. Plan your approach meticulously. No fuel receipts were available and the price per gallon was not displayed; I had to inquire about the cost.

FYI - the airport owner (American Pipeline Patrol) does not permit overnight stays.
