Sisters Eagle Airport 6K5 Pilot Reviews

October 30, 2024Excellent airport! I suggest landing on runway 02 and departing from 20 because of the terrain. If you are camping, be sure to switch off the sprinklers found in the building shed, not the bathroom, or you risk getting sprayed all night long. Ask me how I learned that lesson. Remember to reactivate them before departure. The airport manager was also quite helpful and friendly.

September 15, 2024Amazing little airport. (Be advised FBO is under construction) Seven bikes are available to ride, or a short walk into town. Courtesy car available, lockbox by the locker in the rear of the building, code is CTAF. Restroom to the left of FBO, very friendly people all around. Always wanted to land here since I was a kid, finally did—worth it. Will stop again.

September 13, 2024Wow, what a beautiful little airport! All of the facilities are excellent (fuel pump, bathrooms, campground, shower house and toilet). Meet the owner; truly great people. Grateful they share this place with others. There are 7 bikes available (low to no tire pressure and couldn't get the air pump to get a good seal). Crew car available but we did not use it. Short walk or ride to a beautiful little town with lots of food options. Please clean up after yourself to show your appreciation.

December 21, 2023Very nice small airport. A courtesy vehicle is available and it is situated right out front. Benny was extremely helpful with some questions we had. Contact information is posted on the side of the hangar where overnight fees are paid. The tie-down area includes yellow chains for securing your aircraft. Camping is also an option on the field. Self-serve 100LL and Jet A fuel is offered at the airport. Check the sisters airport website for further details. review was created 11/24/2023.
