Flying Cross Country to Marco Island,Fl. Called FBO day before, phone answered by City of Jackson. Confirmed they had fuel. There was no mention of the Bathroom Condition. Made the fuel stop. Pump a little run down. We got fuel. FBO not staffed. Bathroom room was a DISASTER ! Ceiling was caved in, walls caved in wish I could post a picture. I had stoped there several years before it was nice. Place looked like a ghost town. Most travelers need a restroom might pick another stop.

Unmanaged airport. I have been staying in the area for work and rarely see any traffic here. They have run out of fuel twice while I was there, which seems strange given the minimal traffic. Fuel prices are not the lowest nearby.

Very good airport overall. Nice runway surface. If departing south, avoid coming in heavy because you will be facing a tall hill immediately after takeoff. It is completely unattended, so remember that when you visit. The only negative aspect was the old fiberglass ladder required for fueling a high wing Cessna; I got many fiberglass splinters in my hands even when using it cautiously. They should swap it out for an aluminum ladder.

Very nice small town airport with affordable fuel costs.
