Stopped here for fuel and cut myself pretty bad at the fuel farm. Someone prior to me had reeled the fuel hose in too far and got it stuck. While trying to remove the hose, my hand got lacerated by a sharp piece of the stainless steel cabinet that houses the hose reel. I finally managed to get the hose out, fueled the airplane and then got underway.

Flew into Jennings to attend the NationalSTOL competition. Spent four days camping and flying in and out of the airport. Everybody was friendly and helpful, and the folks at Riceland are a step above.

Wife and I stop in quite often for lunch at the LaRumba Mexican restaurant close to the airport. Dwayne is a super nice and helpful individual! Good people!

Dwayne at Richland Aviation is one of the nicest managers you will ever meet. Used the rental van and when I returned, Dwayne helped me fill up my plane at the self serve pumps. Great place to stop! Thanks again, will be back.
