Great little airport with a nice restaurant on the north end of the field. Many fast food joints an easy walk as well. Self serve fuel farm located at the runway intersection with 100LL available. Recent tree trimming has improved approach paths. Perfect airport to practice short field and soft field if using the grass. Great flying club on the field too! Father John 77 Flying Club at Dalton has most affordable flying in the country! EAA Chapter 77 meets every second Thursday of the month.

Flew in for the June 2022 Fly In. Do your homework on runway length and density altitudes in the summer (short field takeoff). Trees and buildings on both ends of the runways. There is a good restaurant on the NE corner of the field. #cirruspilot
