The new ownership is taking excellent care of the airport! They now have a self serve QT machine for avgas and JetA. It is very easy to operate. The pilots lounge has been updated and is quite comfortable. Dilip & Sheel have worked diligently to update this airport and make it more user friendly. We enjoy flying in to 2W5!

Great folks, slow place and a little costly, but good. Got charged an after hours fee of $50 though I wasn’t needing assistance and the guy just happened to be there about 15 minutes after they closed up. However, I have to give huge props to the same person who was concerned about bird activity and that I didn’t have cowling covers, fashioned some make shift out of trash bags and insulation which kept us from adopting some aviary species. So, this made the after hours worth it as he went above and beyond to help me out and protect my plane. Getting a Lyft wasn’t a problem into DC. This is the closest facility and about a 45 minute transition into the heart of DC.
