One of the most scenic finals I have ever landed. Fuel and everything worked great. Did not see anyone there and over an hour wait for a taxi to get to Cherokee casino so just cancelled. Ended up just fueling up and taking off. No Uber or Lyft available.

Flew in a few weeks ago early morning. Beautiful runway and surroundings. FBO is a trailer. The manager happened to be there when I landed. I asked if they had any coffee they did not. I asked if I could use the courtesy car to go grab a cup of coffee. He said I had to email and submit a request to use the courtesy car. Extremely slow airport with not a lot of traffic and you have to submit a request to get the courtesy car. ‍🤔

Saving grace. I had to divert here due to some bad weather that moved in fast at night. Tiedowns and chalks were supplied, along with self-serve fuel. I ended up needing to stay the night to wait out the weather; fortunately, a sleeping bag and a couch were available for my use. Staff were extremely friendly, and the views were amazing once daylight arrived and the weather cleared. I would certainly like to return sometime!
